Subtle Peer Pressure

So, I thought the days of peer pressure were loooong gone. Afterall, I did graduate from high school SIXTEEN years ago! :P Apparently not.

I went to a birthday party on Saturday. There were lots of 2 1/2 to 3 year olds there and Hope was the only one NOT potty trained. Up until Saturday, I didn't feel pressure but now, all of a sudden, I feel it. I feel like Hope is a pretty smart child and I'd love to know why she refuses to use the 'potty'. She simply doesn't want to use it. We've never even had an accidental success on the potty. She gets on it, somewhat reluctantly, and then says 'I can't'. So, I'll wait until she's five and I can reason with her.
