So yuck, my hubby headed back to Afghanistan recently. We were lucky enough to have him home for Christmas and we really did enjoy the last day he was home even though there were sad undertones to the day. These two are hands down the best part of me being a photographer. Capturing moments like this is really what I enjoy doing the most.
Here's a rare one of the two of us :)
Only Daddy can make her smile like this...
Could they be any cuter??
Even Indy wanted in on the cuddle time...
Here's to hoping the second half of his deployment goes as quickly as the first. We love you Brian.
Aw so sad! My hubby is thinking about joining the Air Force. The cutoff age to join is 28 and he's 27 so he better decide quickly! I just don't think I could be without him for that long!
ReplyDeleteI love your blog! Great pictures!! I just got an Olympus E-520 for Christmas. I don't really know how to use it yet! lol
Thanks for stopping by! I think you'd be surprised at what you could do if you were put in the situation. I know I am! My husband was made to be in the military so there was no other life for us, at least not yet.
ReplyDeleteAs for your camera: The best (and arguably most boring way) is to read the manual. That will definitely help! The next thing I recommend is a book called Understanding Exposure. I loved it when I was just starting out. Good luck!
OMG! I'm glad you said that! I'm slowly working on the manual. But I have the Understanding Exposure book. My hubby bought all this stuff for me for Christmas!!
ReplyDeleteI'm about half way through the manual (which really helped me A LOT) but it's hard to do with a needy 2 month old attached to you! lol
Yay! Well it looks like you're off to a good start then!
